Have been dealing with lower back pain and sciatica for couple of years. Have had two injections in my lower spine, then a course of therapy for about two months, and on and on the pain goes. Have used extra strength Acetemenaphen and Advil, celebrex,diclophenac,oxycodone,
tramadol, hot pads, hot potassium baths and pills, massage. Some have given me differing periods of relief and nothing long lasting.

Great article. I definitely learned a few things, now I gotta do some re-arranging in my home office. Posture is one of those things that are overlooked but can really worsen the pain in your back if not maintained.

i have had 4 major back surgeries from L3 to S2.. i have sciatica as a result and will live with it the rest of my life. If you ever find anything that relieves pain PLEASE let me know…my left leg is atrophing due the nerve damage and is smaller in circumfrence, which makes it weaker, therefore it gives out frequently. I am 44 yrs old with a nine year old son and just want some kind of quality of life. Thank you
